Marshall MG50 vs. Peavey Bandit 112

I want to buy an amp to use my house. I want to get warm, crunchy tone like Guns N' Roses, Skid Row and Scorpions. I've got Ibz RG470 with TB6.
I heard that Marshalls MG are not as good as used to be. What do you think about this two model or have you any recommendation. If you have any recordings of these amps send them.....LET'S ROCK!!!!

Get a Vox AD30VT. It has some great tones, and it's very versatile, great for in home use, and beats the living daylights out of an MG50. If I could spend $200-$300 on a bedroom amp, the Vox is what I'd get. Clips are on the website, or musicians friend too.

Try an epiphone valve jr....a real tube amp.

I'll 2nd the Vox amps!!!!

But out of the MG and the Peavey the Peavey is better built and lower noise...

The AD30VT should be good for you. The MG is really junk, but the peavey bandits aren't that great either.

I've got a vox AD30VT I'll sell you if you decide you want one, if you're inside the US. Just PM me.

Out of those 2 id go for a Peavey Bandit. My mate has a fairly new one which doesn't sound half bad. Some reasonable variety in them. I would recommend Roland Cubes for bedroom use. Mine does the job great.

Where are you from ?

Some countries does not have everything - i would know, as i come from deepest darkest Arrfrika

I saw (this weekend) a RATM type band and the guitarist used an ATV 150 [...i think], and his tone was better than i thought it would be as they did their set-up.

I would really try and get a cheap used valve amp, like a Peavey Classic 30, or even a used ValveKing - seriously !

I'm from Turkey. What do you think about other stuffs like (Laney, Carvin, Rocktron, Fender) to use in home ? Is there any more advantageous purchases than vox ad30vt ?
