At $1899 retail or $1500-1600 used, its an amp that should be bought now, if you've got the money. I certainly don't need one, having a mint 2550 stack, and having a bunch of equal amps, but its so tempting, being a true Marshall gem.

2 grand will get you a helluva better amp, don't believe the silver jubilee hype, they're OK amps but if it wasn't for Frusciante and Slash the originals would go for a quarter of that, I've owned a couple of originals and never been so underwhelmed by any piece of gear.
