Marshall TSL100 with 1960a (wish one 8 or 16 ohm)

I'll see tha the head tsl100 had 3 jack 1/4 output for speaker, 2 of it are 8 ohm & 1 is 16 ohm, I know that the 16ohm is in the mono way, but wish one is better to use this Half stack in stereo mode (connecting one cable 1/4 per output 8 ohm and set it to stereo mode) or simply connect it to 16 ohm output and select the mono switch in the speakers?

thank you all dudes!

The two 8 ohm outputs are probably in parallel to the 8 ohm tap of the output transformer. This allows you to drive two 16 ohm loads at the same time, as in a full stack (total load 8 ohms in parallel). This is not some kind of a stereo output set up. That would require two power amps. You should be able use one of the 8 ohm jacks to drive a single 8 ohm cab as well.

this head got a switch to change to 8ohm 0r 4 ohm & the cab (1960a) got another switch to change from mono to stereo...

but I'm just want to know wish one is one for the best performance and life of this amp, tubes etc... in facts the 16ohm sound like a nasty high gain overdrive (not bad) but in the other way (stereo mode) sound with a very clean OD & clean... but I'm keep asking myself if it is the right way to use a Marshall head in stereo mode? Is the first time that I see a Cab 1960a in this way...

running two speaker outputs from a single head isn't stereo. just run the 16 ohm output of the head into the 16 ohm input of the cabinet, and set it to mono.
