Martin D16-GT. Any experience?

I think I've found what may be the acoustic guitar I've been looking for. Can't believe how many acoustics I've tried that are either too dark, too boomey, too boxey or too bright sounding. The mentioned Martin has a great combination of a rich sounding bass that's not over the top, good mids that project nicely and a top end that's strong sounding and clear. Perfect action as well. No fighting to play this one. Good price too for just under a grand.

Just wondering if anybody has any firsthand experience with this particular guitar. Any complaints or problems? I've found it never hurt to ask. I'm in no hurry to buy but so far this one's at the top of the list.

I haven't owned one, but the local bluegrass store has one I've played many times. It is a really nice guitar. Projects well, very balanced, not boomy. It is a sweet guitar. I'd highly recomend one , especially a Martin with low action..that's almost unheard of.

My father-in-law owns one, at my recommendation. Really nice guitar. He loves it. IMO, you can't go wrong.
