Hi i have done some reading about the triple shot mounting rings, but can not be wise on some things, i have a 50's wiring, 500 k cts pots in my SG, and will be putting a set black winter in it when it come from the shop.
First i decided not to bother with new pots for coil tabs because i have a guitar with it i never use the coilsplit, but i was wondering if i install triple shot on my installed pots, can i use the coilsplit function and other functions
Sorry if it is a stupid question

Re: Maybe a stupid question about triple shot

The Triple SHots are made to work with whatever wiring you have. It will allow split to either coil, in series or parallel. So adding them won't change anything with your wiring other than adding a few options.

The short answer is yes.

Triple Shot rings will let you split the Black Winters (or any 4-conductor humbucker) to either the screw or slug coil as well as offering series and parallel wiring. I have a set in an SG with P-Rails 500K CTS pots and 50s wiring.
