I have a Marshall EL34 100/100 power amp, and that thing is a BEAST. I'm sure you will have similar results using the 50:50. Are you going to use your V-Twin as a preamp going into it?
It will likely see use already next week, current plans are 2 different sets of 6L6 tubes and 2 different 4x12s in the mid-term, one for the punch and one for the cut, take one side of the "to guitar amp" output and one off the "to power amp" jack (one is voiced brighter, IIRC the Poweramp one...)
Live I´ll just put the V-twin on top of it and use an external footswitch (I HATE the V-Twins power supply, way too easy to knock out, huge design flaw for a unit intended for live use...)

I will add that I have not EVER seen a better deal outside of flea markets and yard sales where people have no idea what they have. He on the other hand knew exactly what he has, as did I, but he needed cash ASAP... SOmetimes it´s not so bad when the studio you´re working in has a PC retire (our stuff is ok, no worries there) and they decide to upgrade farther than they can really afford while they´re at it (we´ll be working on a G5 and a Digital Mackie next week, it was a G3 and aa analog Mackie until Tuesday when things started dying)
