Mesa 290 stereo power amp

Heya, just a quick question ,

I have a mesa 2:90 stereo power amp, with a 2x12 cab (left) and a 1x12 cab (right). What I was wondering is could I use the stereo power amp to amplify my mono guitar signal (input A - left) and my boss Drum machine's rhythm patches (input B - right) ??

That will work. Just watch the gain on the Drum machine.

Also, the sonic signature that a guitar cab imparts on the signal from a drum machine is going to be very colored, compared to the way it's supposed to sound. Having a separate EQ on the drum machine to "de-emulate" that cabinet sound is probably a good idea. Remember, a drum machine normally runs into a clean channel with full-range speakers (like PA, monitor, hi-fi speakers). That's not what a guitar amp and cab is -- although the Mesa is a lot closer than a full guitar head with a preamp section would be.
