I've had a special for about 6 months (1x12)...it's an amazing amp. (I play a PRS C22 through it.) If you can carry the 2x12 version more power to you but the 1x12 has more weight than your average 1x12 so the 2x12 version will be HEAVY! The 1x12 and an extension cab would be the way to go IMO.
