Yeah they prohibit mail order too. However, I don't know if that rule applies to other countries. Check out their dealer list. Your best choice may be E-Bay.
yeah Mesa's got a pretty rock solid dealer policy...they have a certain price they can sell for and they can't really go below or above it without facing repurcussion from the company, also they only allow so many dealers in a certain area to carry them. The Guitar Center in the Nashville area and the one in the Memphis are cannot carry Mesa/Boogie because there are just too many in the areas and if I wanted one, and there was one in Guitar Center in Atlanta, the Nashville or Memphis area Guitar Center's could not have it sent over without being in default of the dealer policy....
needless to say, it took me a while to get the one I wanted (I had to find it used to be able to afford it )
Just to make sure that this isn´t misunderstood, this ONLY applies to the US market. In other countries dealers may do as they please
*Edit* I think I should have said North American, ´cause I think Canada and Mexico (i.e. NAFTA) countries are also bound by it, but I´m not sure on that one
mesas here in germany a great bit more expensive than in america(i think about 700€ more compared to the us price for a dual recto). But here you can at least get them sent to you.
