At this point I'm seriously considering selling my Custom Rectover (it's got Blue Vinyl and a black/gold Grille) and then just paying up the difference with my tax returns or something.

1. I generally find that to be true with SS amps, *cough*LINE6*cough* but untrue with tube amps, because most of the tube amps in GC (where I tried it) are poorly taken care of... left on for days, activated with no load, bad tubes... etc. They suffer a lot of abuse and the employees usually don't have the time to care for thm or don't understand that they need caring for. I never trust a tube amp unless I'm playing it with a fresh set of tubes... and one of my boys said that they just got the thing out of the box a few hours ago.
2. When I tried my amp out (with the same cab, no less) and with nothing but a guitar and a cable, my 1st reaction was, "Wow, this sounds great!!"
...when i tried THIS amp out, my 1st reaction was, "DAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNN!!!"
