Mesa F series?

Does the Mesa F-30 and F-50 get heavy enough gain for metal with the Contour switch? This combo looks pretty cool with a V30 speaker and record/headphones out for studio/bedroom play.

It should be able to no problem, I only got to try one briefly (F-50 head) but i really liked it. Not rectifierish but more Mark/Caliberish which is nice

They have tons of gain on tap.....I would try one first, they usually have them at GC.

The F-50 has a C-90 speaker.. But yes, lotsa gain to be found there.
