Hi Folks,
I know a lot of us have a gripe or two about Mesa's being a little muddy, or fuzzy sometimes.
I took my Mesa F30 to King Amplification in San Jose, CA ( a certified Mesa guy ) who recorded the values to help others who want to have their Mesa's "cleaned up". I didn't mean this as a plug so much as advising that there are techs out there looking for ways to get the most out of your Mesa.
Although these are "gain monsters" they should also get decent cleans on clean channel, and have gain that doesn't turn to mush immediately. Val King seemed a decent guy, but more to the point, is tracking what kinds of mod's are more successful in these amps, and could probably relate them to you, as a point of reference if nothing else.
