Mesa Rectoverb vs. Single Rectifier

Is there any difference between the two other than the fact that one has reverb and the other does not? Any difference in tone?

Re: Mesa Rectoverb vs. Single Rectifier

I thought the rectoverb also came as a 100W Dual rectifier solo head.

I thought the Single Recto was a 50 watt head and the Rectoverb a 50 watt 1x12 combo (w/reverb)?

rectoverb comes as a head as well

Re: Mesa Rectoverb vs. Single Rectifier

well i have played a 100 watt dual rectifier head and a 100 watt tremoverb head and i noticed a difference in tone there. and on my POD they are 2 different amps with 2 different tones. the dual rectifier has a meatier, chunkier tone, while the tremoverb sounded a little tighter, and more articulate. the best thing to describe the tremoverb is like a master of puppets kind of distortion (the song that is). i liked the tremoverb better, thats just me tho. anyways, i hope this helps.
