Anybody got one? Anybody played one? This is an intriguing amp...a hundred watter with built-in attenuators.

They cover a good bit of ground.
What a horrible vid to review that amp...turn up the gain all the way, just use two or three low strings, pick as fast as you can, make everything sound the same. Just about any amp (some may need a dist pedal) can do that.
The Royal-Atlantic actually sounds about 1000x better than that! The last 10 or 15 seconds of the vid is the only part worth watching.

Too each his own, bro.
I've heard lots of older players trash talk modern metal. But, every time I try to get them to play it, they can't.
So, if the modern metal guys CAN play the older styles, and the older guys CAN'T play the modern styles. Doesn't that make us better?
I'm not trying to be a dick, but you are the one who started the trash talk first. I'm just defending it.
I agree with Doc and chadd. The dude can play, but as far as showing what the amp can do, it is the end of the vid that really shows you the dynamics that this amp has. Bill, have you checked out Apple Music? They are a Mesa dealer. If they don't have one in stock they would probably be willing to bring one in for you to try. They did that for for me with a Mark V. Joel was very helpful.
