METAL/NOT METAL

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

wait, is there actually people whose hear modern metal without being pseudo emo kids?

anyway, if metal guitars is the thing, the most metal ones are still the '68 flying v and the 58 explorer, 'cause they still had a mile better tone than any "modern metal super strat", unless you are in an emo kids looking band wich auto denomines them metal, then you need one of these

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

my Hot-rodded RG does the distorted metal way better than my stock MIM standard strat

so yea some guitars do make better metal

some guitars make you play differently

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

^ let me try and put it to you this way, and I'll leave it at that..Your guitars are garbage..the guitars I play are worth a million dollars...now..the trolled is become the troll.

Funniest post I've read so far on SD forum.

I've seen that plastic looking ESP on Sweetwater for like 1500 bucks bro...

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

I saw the guy from In Flames playing a black Les Paul Custom one time. But In Flames is not very metal. They don't wear masks.

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

From the first few posts, I thought Jerry's caps lock button was broken (again). I was ready to send him a new keyboard.

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

Nah, he was just so excited about posting pics of that purple ESP.

I'm not "metal" at all, not even close! But I would lay on my caps lock button just looking at that guitar. Can't even imagine holding it, let alone playing it.

OMG, I need to look at it again!

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

How about a Les Paul Jr with a P90?

Played by Bill Steer of Carcass.

Desperate volume twisting when not playing. Meh...

Re: METAL/NOT METAL

I don't know if anyone realizes this, but metal's dead; skiffle is making a comeback and putting metal on a dusty shelf.
