Rex, you and I clearly like very similar pickups
Here's an idea I just had....order a Black Winter with Jupiter style rails from the Custom Shop...call it the "Slay Ride" set :headbang:

I actually picked up a couple sets of these...Custom Shop JB/Jazz Rails...but a Black Winter version would be amazing!

I ordered my own two custom rail humbucker bridge pickups last year with the fat blades.
Overlord rail pickup with A5, 17.25k - something between a more aggressive Custom 5 with more mids and a lower output Black Winter.
Shaman rail pickup with A5, 13.71k - full sounding, lower output, and more modern Iommi style rail with the clarity of the Nazgul.
Hoping to record some clips and comparison videos soon!!

Already had one of those before. Cool pickup if its going into a fat dark guitar like my Gibson. But my Epi is a bit brighter.

Anyone tried the Tom Andersn H3? How about the Railhammer pickups? Any good?

The H3 is awesome! Hot, tight, strong mids, but still very clear and articulate. Great for metal riffing!

I also love the H2+ for all-around versatility.

Anderson pickups don't get the attention they deserve these days!

always liked pups that use the bar magnets as the poles.

i have a set of railhammer hyper vintage pups and they are really good. a more modern tone than a paf but they sound great both clean and dirty
