I just got a Crunch Box the other night and only tried it with all the knobs straight up but it sounded much better than the analogman DS1 I will be selling this weekend :smokin: Looking forward to doin some knob-twiddling this weeknd on it - any suggestions for settings, especially the internal pot?

I've never tweaked the internal pot on mine. I usually had the tone on mine at about noon, and the drive at about 2 o'clock. If you have the drive up too high, it can get a little hissy. And volume to taste of course. The unit has a LOT of volume on tap.
And I can't remember what the exact names are on the knobs, I lent it to my buddy for a few weeks. But you should get the idea ;-)

Glad to read ongoing comments about this pedal. I'm keeping an eye out for one....from the bytes I heard it sounded all-Marshall, but with some nice crunched-up sustain.

Well it depends on the amp you are using it with.....i usually keep it in the stock position, or sometimes i am just removing some presence.

The guys from the US shop i bought it from ( very polite and very good professionals to deal with) told me that they will offer me a refund in two weeks time

. I am very impressed with how the custom sounds through crunch box and bassman. Verbzilla didn't hurt either.
