Hey guys,
Does anyone have any experience these pedals? I have heard bits about them but I wanted to see what yall though... I wanted to look at the Blues Pro and the Boost.
Thanks in advance!

Re: MI Audio pedals... whats the scoop?

I've owned a MI Audio crunch box for over a year now, and it's been my main distortion pedal. The crunch box is probably one of the best pedals for what it does. It sounds awesome at stage volume as well as low bedroom volume.... a good tube amp really helps though.

Reports from other users say that the blues pro and the boost are awesome as well.

Their pedals are well built and sound great. Plus, they're priced reasonably.
And if by any chance you don't like em, you can easily resell them with minimal loss.

Re: MI Audio pedals... whats the scoop?

I own several of thier pedals and all of them are awesome! The Boost n' Buff is a great clean/treble booster and it's buffer actually IMPROVES your tone rather than sucking it. The Blues Pro is a great Tube Screamer type of OD, with more gain and low-end, and less compression and mid-hump. They are all built like tanks, sound awesome and are priced very fairly.

Cheers,

CJ

Re: MI Audio pedals... whats the scoop?

I have the Crunch Box, Blue Boy and Blues Pro, and they are some of the best pedals I've ever owned and used. A couple of months ago another forum member was asking about them and I made up a brief demo for him, I'm happy to put up the link again so you can at least hear these three up against a couple of other pedals. MI Audio pedals are modern classics.

Re: MI Audio pedals... whats the scoop?

Thanks guys that's what I wanted to hear! I have a lonestar 4X10 good match or not? Also I am using a FatBoost now is the MI Boost going to be redundant or a diffrent flavor worth checking out The price can't be beat.

Re: MI Audio pedals... whats the scoop?

The MI Audio boost is much different than the Fat Boost. The MI is a flat frequency boost up to 12 o clock, after that it starts to boost highs and cut lows and essentially becomes a treble booster. And you won't believe how much your tone improves due to it's buffer. I think the MI boost blows the Fat Boost away.

Cheers,

CJ
