ok, so my red and white wires are going to hot, right?

if so, does this mean i should get a rw/rp single?







is there a more direct way to see if my current single is rw/rp? will it be labelled or something?

To verify if your current single is RWRP, take another normal wound Duncan single coil, and try to stick it face to face to your current pickup. If they repell, your current pickup is normal polarity. If they attract, your current pickup is reverse polarity.
