Mini Jooby

Re: Mini Jooby

Definitely sounds cool, although has me wondering if it is just like the 2550 with the half power switch hard wired on(?).

It's definitely more interesting to me than a lot of the small amps out there, and if it is UK made, the price is reasonable, although I'm guessing it will get more competition from Jet City than Soldano.

Re: Mini Jooby

Yeah I would have said that would be my next amp, but at that price I would rather spend the extra $200 on a Splawn Super Sport, or Nitro SS

Re: Mini Jooby

The pricing is not what we all hoped, but I don't think it is way over priced for a UK built amp of that ilk. It's not just another small box EL84 amp built in Asia. The only other comparable amp in that wattage range, packing big bottles, that I know of, is the Soldano Hot Rod 25, which is about $1000 USD more than that price new, and simply do not exist on the used market. It's in about the same price range of USA built Fenders and Mesas. And the price used should be fairly reasonable.

I would spend that amount on a Friedman Mini Dirty Shirley in a heartbeat over the Mini Jube. And the new Friedman Runt coming-out also has my attention.

Re: Mini Jooby

That Marshall sounds great! I'd reckon for most plug and play rock applications with small to medium venues this thing owns. It'd be great if they could get the price down domestically, but it's an impressive sounding piece of equipment.
