Mini Toggles/Rotary Switch Wiring Help

Re: Mini Toggles/Rotary Switch Wiring Help

I think this...

...is what you mean? The problem here is that on the switch positions where both tone pots are active (postions 4 and 6), the tone signals cross again, leaving both tone pots active in all positions. Same problem as before. I'm starting to think this wiring cannot be done. Maybe I'll have to settle for a master volume and master tone?

Re: Mini Toggles/Rotary Switch Wiring Help

You're right again, Hermetico. Thanks so much for your help.
If I did go with a master volume and a master tone, any idea what I would use that extra hole for? I'm not crazy about leaving a 3/8" hole in the front of the guitar...

Re: Mini Toggles/Rotary Switch Wiring Help

Update...I wired it up last night with a master volume and master tone, everything works the way it should and sounds great. Thanks again to Hermetico and DrNewcenstein for their help.

I moved the killswitch from the upper bout to the vacant spot where the bridge tone was...anyone know a good-looking way to plug a 1/2" hole? I noticed Buckethead's LP has some kind of cap over the hole where the toggle usually is, I'm looking to do the same.

Re: Mini Toggles/Rotary Switch Wiring Help

Thanks for the reply Hermetico. Actually, it's a 1/2" hole, where the 3-way toggle used to be. A phase switch would be nice to have, but I don't really want to use a 3-way toggle as a phase switch. I'd rather just cover it up at this point.
