Gold anodized pickguard might look interesting on that guitar I suspect. For less flash, I'd go parchment.

Surprised at the mint green hate. Honestly, they very rarely *look* green to me; just like a white that blends better with certain colors.

That said, I'm not sure that pale blue is the right application for it.
