She's calling it the Brobucker. Since, it was requested by all us forum brothers. :)

I've asked MJ to review the specs and see if she has any suggestions. I've also asked her about shipping charges to US and to Overseas. Hopefully, we'll have some answers by Jan 1st and I can open up the sign up.

Excellent...It'll be good piece of mind to know if MJ thinks it's well engineered...and if not, that she can make changes.

Awesome name! After reading all this about the 10k 'bucker I think I might try and get the cash together to get one...hopefully :fingersx:

myself--Rev Donzo---started the use of BRO here long ago-- which started this forum brotherhood -- Prior to that its was not very often that this amount of sportsmanship ( brotherhood) was seen between guitar players -- there was allot of compitition and cross-negitives between guitarist -- as often we were pitted against one another in those revolving door's when trying out for bands..etc..

This place was shortly after that called the best most friendlist forum on the internet... big motor companys were roumored to take notice of our comaradary--and tried to apply it top their talk forums-- where more often then not were flame war-ish..

I'm just glad it caught on -- and a family type --warm-fuzzy- feeling remains here to this day!

Personaly I thank all of yas! and feel it took many of us,

will it say "brobucker" on the little sticker under the pickup? now that would be cool!!

If a pickup was called the monkeybucker I'd just buy it, no questions asked. With a name like that, who cares if it sounds good? You can just say, "Hey I got a monkeybucker in my guitar, what do you have?"

Brobucker is pretty cool. Of course, she could have named it "The Butt Tickler" and I'd probably still buy it.

I am concerned about the proposed Jan 10 deadline though ... that may not be do-able for me. Is there some wiggle room there?

I tell you what...I don't really feel a need for a new pickup...but with all the fuss that's been made over the 10k PAF pickups...I'm going to order one just for the sake of giving it a go! someone give me a brief overview of how it should be different from my 59 bridge that I've got in my les paul?
