I've got it assembled and wired up Stale but I'm having a few problems (pilot error). I'm bringing it to a tech to go thru it all. This was an easy assembly but the wiring thru me because I'm not experienced in soldering etc.

I think it's in my soldering. My buddy told me it sounds like I heated one of the pots. Should have sprung for their 3 way wiring kit.:banghead:

Live and learn right? When it comes back I'll take some photos.

The neck feels awesome by the way and I'm itching to play this thing plugged in. Sitting here on the couhc it feels nice, and the body has a nice resonant tone. After weeks of gathering parts and pickups, it cant come soon enough!

Yeah i have a few problems on my own tele im waiting to have taken care of. Mine is a relic kit though. Definitely post pictures though when it comes back. Can't wait to see what one of these babies looks like. Best of luck to you man.

Yah, mine is a relic kit, too. Did you get yours from blackpoole ,too? If so, which kit did you buy?

I dropped my Tele off today. The tech said I cooked the pot with too much heat from my newb soldering job. It should be ready on Monday because I figured since it's there, why not have him go thru my work and give it a nice setup. TBC.
