Modern Player tele with a 59 Custom Hybrid in the bridge. Looking for a neck pickup.

Will likely run a Alnico II i have on hand in the middle so need a neck pickup. Leaning right now to the Hot Tele to be a good balance with the 59/cust bridge bucker + give me some sing on a solo tone in the neck. The bright Alnico II should give some chime and quack when used with it and also the hybrid split in pos 2 and 4..
Not set in stone so open to other suggestions.

I like the sound of the hot tele.

My issue is I have only heard a couple clips on line. What i have heard seems to be in line with what I'm looking for but not really familiar with most Tele neck pickups in particular.
Looking for a fatter sweeter tone than the stock VP neck but something that will still work well with a Strat single in the middle and get some Quack. Also looking for a tonal and output match for the Hybrid in the bridge. So far the Hot For Tele looks like the winner but not set in stone.

Well if you want it hot, you only have 2 choices that or the qp. The qp is darker.

Twisted Tele - 40 buck , I use it in Neck + works well / the Amp could do Anything else if need be .

GFS fatbody neck pup, I've been replacing my tele neck pups with them, its snappy, loud, works great with 500k pots sounds almost stratty, plays well with buckers and its CHEAP...................GFS is very hit or miss but that one is a winner.

A little update, I do have the same tele you have and also play P&W I picked up a CV 50's tele for cheap (pine body as well) I had the GFS fat body bridge sitting around, I was going to install the DMZ tone zone T, 500k pots etc but just stuck the gfs fatbody set in there tonight as well as a treble bleed, once again the GFS fatbody pups are great, installed the 10k bridge and the FB neck single coil, just killer. You want to get thet Lincoln Brewster sound on the neck pup, the fat body nails it, I removed a hot tele neck pup that was muddy, the GFS is quacky ,ballsy and clear, the modern player is getting one next, the fat tele neck pup is just too bassy but you may want to try a treble bleed before you swap pups.

I just picked up a Twisted Tele off ebay for $45 - sounds great. It's in my sunburst Tele in the Tele thread.

the Twisted uses Bigger magnets as well ~ Alnico 5 , from jazz Bass
