Doesn't work for refrets or finish mods/repairs.
That's nice. I'm so happy for you. Maybe if I could find a stock instrument that came with the exact features that I want, then I would too. That is if I didn't have to pay another grand for $300 worth of parts that I could install myself in a few hours.I buy guitars that don't require the mods yours do. Lolololololol.

Only guitar I haven't modded is a Jackson Jazz'R. And that's only because I can't get the pickups out of the routes. Those babies are wedged in there tight.
.
When I mod a guitar, it adds value to me.
Have you tried nothing and are all out of ideas? Im sure they could come out with just a bit of work. Silly Dr nukem
I stopped just short of vise-grips, as I'd rather not chew up the pickup covers, or rip chunks out of the wood when they finally break loose. The saddest part is the height cannot be adjusted, either, so if I wanted to tweak that, I'm screwed. Fortunately they sound great where they are.
ya think the paint may have still been tacky when the pickups were installed and just glued them in?
Pretty much agree with the majority here. why would I pay extra for an epiphone with emgs and a floyd when that's not my thing? Someone might, but to me it has devalued it rather than added value.
