Mooer Audio pedals

Just got a great deal on a Mooer Trelicopter on TGP today. (Should be here next week)

Anyone got any opinions on these as well as the rest of their line?

I have been looking for a good subtle trem pedal and the less real estate it takes up, the better for me. From vids I've heard this seems to be the ticket. It's super smooth sounding and goes from light to choppy, very versatile for such a small package.

Considering picking up one of their analog delay pedals as well. For the price of these new, you can't beat them! (even better on the used market)

I think it'd be awesome to have a whole mess of these and set them up on one of the small PedalTrain boards. Simple and elegant.

Anyway, whatchu think about 'em?!

THey look really cool kinda regretting ordering a joyo tremolo should of saved the extra 20 for this. Got there black secret (rat clone) and it sounds great never used a real rat but love it only problem is the switch is dodgy (like a lot of cheap 3PDT switches) so I have to replace that (hopefully without screwing up the board).

Re: Mooer Audio pedals

I heard these are hand built by the 80s cartoon family known only as The Littles.

Wow Really? Well... they do a great job ;)

I have their Analog Delay & Pitchbox pedals & they both sound fantastic through my effects loop.

The analog delay pops a bit when you first switch it on after plugging it in (cap discharging?...defective footswitch...not sure which..) but after that it switches silently for the rest of the session...

I've got the ShimVerb I got from Kam. So far it does the job just fine for what I need with my Lil' Night Train. Some of the settings can be a little metallic, but I guess that's a possibility with any reverb pedal set to its extremes. So far, I'm liking it and it seems pretty well made. It's also one of the few pedal lines where you can find good demos across the board on YouTube.

A Trelicopter is next on my list, after a new amp (which I will be getting before the end of the year).

The first-time pop from the Analog Delay is probably caused by how they are initializing the BBD. If so, then not something you can fix without a circuit mod.

I love these tiny form factor pedals. I might have to take a graze at the Mooer stuff.

Whoever opens a US Joyo/Mooer Internet sales shop with decent clips will win.

Re: Mooer Audio pedals

If you like subtle trem, the trelicopter will work for you. I picked one up a month or so ago and then realized that I never actually use trem effects for anything. I use the Triangle Buff and Reecho much, much more, they are on my pedal board full time. There had been a USA seller on eBay selling stuff for about $60 each, but Mooer has been sending emails to sellers pressuring them to raise their prices.

Re: Mooer Audio pedals

As Chris mentioned, I had the Shimverb. I liked it a lot and only sold it because it didn't do anything that my Verbzilla doesn't, and I prefer the 'Zilla's Octo setting to the Shimverb's shimmer. It sounded great for ambient playing with the reverb level cranked up and a little delay added.

I'll be really interested to hear what you think of the Trelicoptor though. I've been planning to pick one of those up for a while now.
