Well I have that 15/30 Vox like amp, the preamp is a direct copy of an old late 60's TopBoost AC-30.
The poweramp is made like an AC-15, just with a powersupply from an old Dynacord Eminence 50 watts EL-34 equipped amp.
Amazing amp, I love the sounds that I can get from it, I use a 4x12 cab with V-30's and it sounds like a small friggin Plexi, with a Jensen 15" speaker...amazing oldschooll sound, same with a Bellbottom Jensen, on a 4x12 with G12H speakers(30 watters) it is all dark and warm plus with some very good clarity, sounds very much like an AC-30 there.
The only thing I need to do is to remove a ground noise issue I have, but I am getting a new chassis for it first!
