alright, so I think I *kind of* get impedance, or at least know what I need... (8 ohms series/parallel), but exactly what does the power rating have to do with things...
Again I've got a 100 watt combo to fill with 4 12"s... I'm looking at Celestion G12-30s from an MG cabinet, and G12T 175s from uhh something...
Anyway, with 4 of the G12-30s I'll have 120 watts, and the G12T 175s are 300 watts altogether
So what's the advantage of using higher watt speakers?
more importantly... which way will give me the most headroom? If that's even an effect of the power rating
I'm clueless :laugh2:
