Obviously Lemurs don't taste good. LOL

And you know what else????... Those cases with the white fur interior....
BABY SEALS!!!!!
^^ Exactly why I said Leo was pleased with his choice. NOt paying an arm and a leg for Fretboard wood. FRETBOARD WOOD. How much influence does fretboard wood really have on tone? I'm serious, cause I doubt it's that Big a tone shaper.
I don´t see the connection between this and any specific model introduced by Gibson. Could you elaborate, please? This is (partially) why Gibson shouldn't have made that Bastard-Child Explorer/dimebag/monstrosity.
Save the trees! Let us make guitars out of materials like Switch Guitars do.![]()
As for alternative choices for guitar materials I'd be interested to find out what a guitar made out of industrial hemp would sound/play like.
Crap, another battle lost in the war on the environment.
When I hear about stuff like this, I ask: What has the environment done for us? We've been evolving for millions of years just because it pits us against each other and makes it insanely difficult to survive, where's the sympathy? We finally get to a point where we can get some revenge, and now environmentalists are telling us we're gonna destroy the planet. Good I say. **** Mother Nature.

^ but wouldn't that just be so amazing?!
Is maple/alder in as high demand as Rosewood? I do actually wonder where Fender gets their wood.
It wouldn´t play at all, hemp has a high tensile strength but effecteively zero compression resistance. put bluntly it´s like building a guitar out of rope.....

Watch for great deals on Gibson guitars at police auctions.
REALLY???? I am paying out my ass in taxes and this is the result?
Well, I guess it's a good thing. We wouldn't want any of that dangerous wood to get in the hands of any school children or anything. :argh:
This is about destroying endangered forests, not any physical danger to consumer. We can chop all the world's trees down, but then what? Do we pave the world in concrete? Nice to have some intelligent resource management before things are gone for good.
Madagascar Rosewood is illegal?
Many luthier supply houses carry it.
