More P-rail discussions in a 335 style

Re: More P-rail discussions in a 335 style

I had prails in a 335 style guitar for a while. I used two neck models, as I thought the full bridge would be too much for what I wanted. I mag swapped the neck to A5/A2 to soften it a bit and probably used parallel most of the time. I also swapped the bridge to A8/A5, and probably used the p90 most of the time.

Very versatile, but I went for a more vintage direction in this guitar with Seth/Seth, which is now Seth/Bro and will stay that way. After having the prails I did also get a p90 guitar.

That thing is cool. The combination of P-Rails, Triple-Shots, and Bigsby almost give it a subtle steampunk look. Sweet!

The silver top - top hats did not go un-noticed either.

I like the guitar but the foil pickups look out of place there. I'd dig black P-Rails. Or chrome hardware and cream P-Rails.

Re: More P-rail discussions in a 335 style

I was also pondering a black Bigsby perhaps....

I like that guitar Ace. Not crazy about black hardware, but that's just personal choice. It's in nice shape too. If it were me, I'd go nickel, not chrome hardware and cream rings and P-Rails. That will look and sound sweet.

Nah - this guitar is specifically going black hardware. Personal thing.

Not saying a classic Dot isn't on the agenda sometime. Just not this one. Going a little classic/modern here.
