I've been reading thread after thread after thread. I'm installing 2 P-rails in my les paul. I have my wiring diagram all figured out with a 3 way switch. Series/parallel, 50's wiring and independent volumes. And before you say it, no im not doing triple shots. Haha. I've wired/soldered guitars before but it's been a while and I just want to make sure before I start this project. I've never done push/pull pots or P-rails but I hear good things about both, especially together.
My only questions are:
1. What type of pots, dpdt or spst? I'm doing 2 regular volume pots and 2 push/pull tone pots. However I'm not sure if i need dpdt or spst for my pots.
2. Will a 3 way switch be good or should I use a freeway switch or something different? I would like to mess around with as many sound options as I can, with out any compromising.
3. What problems might I encounter with P-rails and my set up and how could I address them?
Thanks for helping out in advance.
