This idea came up on my mind as I'm planning to do an order from an online shop...
As for now I record guitars like this:
Guitar - Wah - TS808 - V-Stack - direct into soundcard...
Would I get any benefit from putting this Behringer Tube Pre-amp in between my pedalboard and the sound card, like this:
Guitar - Wah - TS808 - V-Stack - Behringer Tube Mic Pre - direct into soundcard...
BEHRINGER
MIC100 Tube Ultragain
Behringer MIC100 Vacuum tube preamplifier with Limiter,20dB Pad, Phase-reverse switch and 48V Phantompower, Gain-and output-volume-control, in/out jack and xlr, incl.power supply
I know that it won't at all compare to the "real deal" crazy expensive tube pre's but do you think it would help since I'm recording through DI?
