Okay guys, I think I worked up a good config that may work with a regular 5-way switch and is ideal for me and my playing style. Which is funk/jazz/rock/metal. Yeah go figure. I'll record you some tunes sometime.
anyway:
cool rails neck, cool rails middle, humbucker bridge. 5 way switch, one tone one volume
1. full bridge bucker
2. middle and bridge split to single and combined, no hum, Needs to quack well and jive with each other
3. Full middle rails.
4. neck and middle split to single and combined, no hum, quack and jive like regular singles
5. Full neck rails.
I have no idea how to work up the wiring for this. I'm going to ask my tech on monday, but if you guys have any ideas if and how it'll work let me know.
