So, Someone posted a Steve Lukather video clip on another website and I totally dig the tone of his EMG's 85/SLV/SLV (I've always been a fan of the 85), so I have GAS for these.....ahh, but I need a guitar in which to put them. SO I was playing with Warmoth ideas again.

What say ye - 1, 2, or 3 ???

i'm not a big fan of gold hardware in most cases so i have to go with 3...or perhaps 3 with the pickguard off 1.

#1 if all the gold hardware matched each other and if you could get a gold mirror pickguard. An ebony fretboard would also look pretty cool. Like XSSIVE, I've never really been a fan of gold hardware, so #1 w/black hardware (#3 with gold pickguard) would be cool.

I'd say #1 with a gold mirror guard would look quite unique and very stylish

That's not an option, the Lukather set only comes in black. I'd prefer white, it would make it a lot easier to come up with a cool combo.

I actually like the looks of #2 the best, but I've only seen problems with gold hardware. I'd go with #3, if it were for myself.
