Morely Tremonti wah VS Bad Horsie wah???

i have a tremonti wah on my board now and i like it however i'm wondering how much different the bad horsie sounds.

the tremonti can be a bit edgy on the top (toe down) with some real bite to it even with the boost all the way off. that's cool sometimes but other times i need less bite so i have to remind myself not to go full toe down.

is the bad horsie as edgy or a more mellow sound when your toe is all the way down? that's what i'm looking for, a bit less edge.

anyone ever A/B them?

Guitarist in my band has a Bad Horsie and it's an awesome wah. I need one. I can't really answer your question because I haven't played a Tremonti wah, but the Bad Horsie is a very expressive wah in the high range. It didn't sound harsh, but it sure isn't mellow and low like a vintage kinda crybaby wah.

My cousin has the Tremonti, and i have a bad horsey. Im planning on seeing him sometime this week so ill see if he can bring it over. The Bad Horsey doesnt sound very edgy on the top end, it gets bright but nothing hard on the ears with my amp, or when i had the Laney.

thanks guys but i decided to look into my tremonti a bit more and figure out how it worked. so i cracked it opened and figured out how to modify the top end of the sweep and got rid of that top end bite i didn't like. plus i changed the LED to the typical "i've been modded" bright blue while i was in there lol.

Since you already solved the problem it's kinda useless, but i owned both the bad horsie and the tremonti(still have the tremonti) and the BH is way more dgy and top-endy.

I tested both before i bought my Weeping Demon ,and i would say the Tremonti sounds better.The edge is better ,more round i think.Bad Horsie was noisy ,was too "much" in highs.You have the best Morley Wah i think.But who knows ,every gear get used with different gears ,and every ear hears different!Cheers Mike

I just got my Spina modded 847 back.................... SO far I am really diggin' this Wah. A detailed review to come later.
