The Invader's bold personality transcends any cover (you'd have to custom make one) or body wood. I really don't think it matters what shape the body is...the Invader sounds like the Invader.

Talked to warmoth today, their standard recessed routing is set up for schaller or original FR. Gotoh would have to be hack ... so from stand point of 150 to 200 budget, what are my best options with original FR/Wilkinson ?

It's a double-locking Floyd, so you'll need to cut the ball ends just as you'd do with a Schaller or OFR. If you want actual black instead of Cosmo, you'd want this one.

The Gotoh Floyd is designed to be a direct drop-in replacement for an OFR, so you shouldn't need to modify the route.

Hmmm ... I talked to a guy by the name of Spike at the custom shop. He said OFR or Schaller, Gotoh he said the tech can make it work by doing something with the pins and routing form or what not ... but as far as drop in, only OFR or Schaller. From what I read Schaller is basically FR II correct? that means no ball clipping, i have FR II from Kramer striker, the only problem with it is the base where you screw in the bar is loose and sqeeks, but i think that can be fixed no? So here is the questions if Schaller is FR II should I just fix the base of my FR II from 89/90 and go with that ?

The Schaller is NOT a FRII; it's double-locking just like the OFR and Gotoh are. The biggest difference between the Schaller and OFR are the shorter bridge block screws on the Schaller. It's also made out of slightly different metal (cast vs. machined maybe) though I don't remember the specifics.

Shape/Wood/finish is a tribute to Rhoads, Schenker, K.K. Downing. Angled bridge bucker/single coil in the neck is tribute to my first guitar Kramer Striker where neck for this is from, and 80s metal that made me practice in the first place, this got very sentimental very quick ... :-)

Schaller hardware is expensive in general unless you're in the EU, that's why I usually end up with Gotoh. The quality is as good or better and it's usually less expensive.

So my warmoth body above is routed for Schaller Recessed - the Schallers on the warmoth site 37mm blocks, but I found a deal with a 42mm block, Would that make a difference/Problem ?

On a guitar with a recessed Floyd, a 42mm block will probably stick out the back. The stock 37mm block will probably work, but they're available with a 32mm block for thin bodies.

1 3/4" is the body "thinkness", and the trem is recessed into it,
My top mounted Charvel has a 37mm and my RG550 which is recessed has a 32mm, both bodies 44.4mm thick

AFAIK they're made by two different companies, but both make good pots. Some of the higher end Alpha pots are OK, but they make a lot of cheap junk too.

I think you asked about a replacement body for that neck some time back. I have to say that the one you have got yourself is REALLY cool! I'm madly envious of you ;)
