Loaded with Duncan Dimebuker and '59. What do you think of the guitar and of a '59 as a model pick up?IMG]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/08/y7ezegyv.jpg[/IMG]

I dig it but I bet my left nut that 90% of the responses you will get will be of people hating it.

Re: MPL Guitars UK Top Midi

It looks like there's a trem, midi, two pickups with switching options and a sustainer. I don't really think it's very practical to combine so many different things in one guitar without compromising each.

Re: MPL Guitars UK Top Midi

Its fine, but the middle pickup would get in my way. And you can certainly combine different technologies in a guitar (Belew Parker w/magnetic.piezo, synth, sustainer & variax), but I would design this particular one to look a little cleaner.

Re: MPL Guitars UK Top Midi

The problem I see with this is that if the guitar itself is not 100% what you are looking for (neck profile, wood, tone, ergonomics) then its silly to put all those bells and whistles on it. I think these things are better added aftermarket once you know the guitar is for you.

Are you making a few assumptions or what? I think it is what he is looking for otherwise he wouldn't have gone to all the trouble of doing it? Am i missing some cryptic info?

The midi gtech ibby sabre i did is.......incredible even if i say so myself.

Re: MPL Guitars UK Top Midi

I thought this was a stock model.

Better to add this stuff to your favorite guitar than have it on a guitar you don't like 100%.

For instance, I like the features, but I don't like the guitar or the trem.
