Yeah, and the midboost/added compression really tightens things up.

I'd go with a Maxon OD808, though. SD-1's and the like sound really solid state in comparison.

dial down the bass, get a better cab. in that order.

i had that with my crate combo.. and when i switched to the 2x12 with v30's it tightened the palm mutes up immensly.

I would like to thank everyone that responded to my problem but I seem to have fixed the bad gas my amp was giving me! I turned down the gain (thank you) and I noticed my 100Hz and 50Hz bass on my parametric mysteriously got lowered. Probably when I set the feedback destroyer to auto mode as it automatically resets parameters and keeps them there. So I turned them up, adjusted the bandwidth and BAM! no more poop. Once again, thank you everyone!!!! I still think I'm going to find a cab w/v-30's in though.
