Musicyo Kramers

Does anyone have any experience with the musicyo Kramers? I've been looking at the Custom, the Standard, and the Striker with Tune-o-matic bridge.

Custom http://www.musicyo.com/product_specs.asp?pf_id=573

Standard http://www.musicyo.com/product_specs.asp?pf_id=572

Striker http://www.musicyo.com/product_specs.asp?pf_id=486

How is the quality of these guitars? They seem like nice guitars for a nice deal.

I've also been considering an Agile les paul.. how does the quality of those compare to the Kramers?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: Musicyo Kramers

The Custom is really nice, I was interested in getting that when I wanted a Les Paul. The specs look great, and the price is cheap.

Re: Musicyo Kramers

In the inexpensive catagory, you may also want to take a look at Johnson's. I have their Strat, and its quality and sound are outstanding. Far superior to my boy's Squier. Its the only guitar I have, that doesn't have Duncans . . . yet.

The new models are even nicer than mine. They come with EMG designed pups, but mine sound great.

Re: Musicyo Kramers

From reading around the web, I get the impression that the new Kramers have pretty abysmal quality control.

Re: Musicyo Kramers

those new Kramers are all crap. They are a total Insult to the great guitar Krammer was in the 80s.

Re: Musicyo Kramers

I bought a Kramer Telecaster- the DuoPro, or Duotone. It was originally 699, I got it for 350 on sale. I got it because I wanted a butterscotch blonde tele, and that was the cheapest I could find. It came built with great parts- grover locking tuners, acoustic bridge, seymour duncan pickups, but the guitar looked like it was put together by an amateur- horrible routs for the bridge, neck, pickups, poor pots, switches, action sucked. I still haven't taken it for a set up, and just leave it on my amp at home as an ornament. It sounds great, but it was built horribly. I wouldn't recommend any of their products, except for their cheapest of guitars. Still, I'd take a Squire over any MusicYo Kramer.

Kramers of the past were great. The musicyo ones are garbage. Squires are better.

YOU HIT THE NAIL IN THE HEAD! Thats Exactly what I am saying . I wont recommend any guitars from MUSIC YO. They are all total insults to the great guitars that Krammer, Steinberger and others were.
We ued to open for this band called Millenium. The guitarist has this beautiful black Krammer made somewhere in the mid 80s with the floyd. That guitar rocks!!!!!!!!!!. He used that axe and still uses it since then. Some time back a friend of mine order a Music Yo , and u cld guess wht he got.
The new Krammers are all crap.

Re: Musicyo Kramers

thank you for your replies. I guess I'll look elsewhere. That les paul was very pretty, but I'll pass if they are horribly made. Thank you.
