Mustang Bass

Any one have any experience with the Mustang bass, or any other bass with a 30" scale. How did it play and sound? Thanks.

For me, the short-scale basses play easier, but they lack the punch of the long-scale basses. I once owned a Jerry Jones "longhorn" bass, which I liked, but I found myself coming back to the 34" scale basses, because of sound, and playability. But different strokes for different folks...
