The Script is more subtle, less in-your-face, the Block logo has more mids and, well, for lack of better term, more in-your-face. That said, the difference is noticeable if you have them side by side (or have one with a switch), but it's not a huge difference. Both sound good.
EVH used a Script logo on the early VH stuff, notably Eruption, the Zakk Wylde version is based on the Block logo, so if you look up his song Overlord, that is more of a Block logo sound.
