mxr phase 45

i picked up a block logo phase 45 at guitar center today and wondered how to date them and whats the general feeling on them as well as if anybody mods them at all if theres any???

I don't know anything about the dates or mods, but the MXR Phase 45 is probably my favorite phase pedal out there. More 'musical' sounding than the Phase 90. Or at least it is to my ears. I think they stopped making them in the early 80's.
