My Acoustic 'Project'

Hey guys.

Here's some clips of my Acoustic Project that I've been with for a while.

As some of you may know, I do some work for a local Recording Studio and 1 perk of the job is I get free studio time whenever the studio is available

So I used the free time to make a recording of 5 songs (only 2 are finished) and am recording it in bits, as and when the studio is available for my use.

Like I said on MSN, they sound really cool and the solo doesn't need any redoing it's pretty cool as well

Just incase anyone's interested:

The acoustic guitar for both songs was a Korean made Takamine with 10 gauge strings.

The 1st clean electric guitar part is a stock USA Tele into a POD XT Pro.

The solo was my Gordon Smith Graduate60 which then had a Screamin Demon' in the bridge, into a POD XT Pro (on either a JCM800 or Soldano patch).

The 2nd clean guitar part is also my Gordon Smith into a POD XT Pro on a clean setting with a little chorus. The Delay was added during the mix, and is a plug in from Soundscape.

Won´t you save me reminded me of some old Donovan tunes..voice is a bit similar imho..sometimes

I would just like to say that I didn't write these songs, the guy that plays acoustic guitar and sings is the song writer :dance:

Thanx for the posts guys!

I hadn't checked this post in a while and didn't think anyone else had replied!

I'll be sure to post up the other 4 songs we have as soon as there's more than the basic acoustic parts to them.

1 of the songs we want to record is a version of U2's 'With Or Without You' played on Acoustic guitar, Mandolin, Flute and Harmonica

Now I know that some people are interested in hearing it, I'll be sure to post them when they're a little more finished
