That coudl be several things...the first 3 that come to mind are tubes, a cap job and a good cleaning of all the jacks and such...to be honest you;re best bet might be to just take it to a good amp tech and have him look it over. Things like this are always hard to trouble shoot with actually hearing and/or looking at the amp. I woudl bet that fresh tubes, a capo job and a good all over cleaning would have it sounding better than ever!

By cleaning jacks you also mean the tube sockets too right ? so what's the best way to clean jacks and sockets? Thanks bro.

Yeah, clean it all up...the easiest and safest way to do it right is to have it done!

Allright, slight update. Had fantastic time playing it again today with out any of this problem. What I did, I would play for 30-40 mins, than I would shut it of for about 10-15 mins, toward the end the tone began to suck but no phasing in/out of bass and buzz. I pray to God its not caps and just tubes would be so much cheaper .... TGWIF, how would say it in Atlanta?
