It's looking great. Being able to glue the neck in at the beginning of the project must have been a good feeling, because then it's the start of an actual instrument.
I can't tell from the pics ... did you mask the sides of the fretboard down to where it meets the mahogany ? Have you given some thought to the fact that there will be a slight 'ridge' when you remove the tape, and that that phenomena will occur with any coats you apply ?
