My Charvel restoration

Re: My Charvel restoration

I still want to see all your gear in a photo thread. Even if it's just the amps at this time. Even if some of it is torn apart. Throw us a bone!

Re: My Charvel restoration

That is one heck of a restoration. Excellent work.

Have you tried hunting down a screw-in arm assembly for the Floyd?

You got me... no real way to correct it, so I left it.

Re: My Charvel restoration

Wow, you really worked some magic on that bad boy, I should send you my wife's Kramer........

Re: My Charvel restoration

thats cool bro-you have the look and quality of a 3,000 dollar guitar but the price is much less. you can gig with that and never feel bad about any scratches or dents. smart man :bigok:

Re: My Charvel restoration

The whole guitar weighs about 9.5 pounds. Well worth it for the sound it makes. :D

My all maple neck and body Carvin weighs in about 9.5 lbs as well! I feel your pain, lol; all maple blue guitars sound and look awesome!

I have a preference for blue guitars and I just am in love with your new look Charvel! You did an exceptional job and the guitar looks immaculate.

Once again congrats!

Wow, I have been following this guitar for years. It was purchased at Guitar Center SF in 82, after I had for 6 years, a luthier in Novato, CA (Phillip Ralphs) refinished and changed the bridge. It sure looks beautiful now!
