MY DREAM GUITAR ARRIVED TODAY....REALLY

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but those DiMarzios are sketchy looking, as is the work around the logo on the headstock. Can we perhaps see the inside of the cavities? Just saying...might want to check them out.

The next time I have the strings off I’ll shoot the cavities. I bought it from a very reputable Ace guitar collector. I’m not worried. All solder joints are untouched.

Sharp looking guitar. I never really understood the three pickup idea. Beautiful Heritage Cherry finish though.

Let me help you; It looks cool.

Get it now?

Also - and this is just me, sonically switching to the Bridge/Middle combo is a cool rhythm sound. Then just hit the bridge pup only for a lead.

Looks cool? Not that cool. And that middle pickup is going to get right in the way of your pick. Strats have 3 pickups. Les Pauls? Two. But all that matters for the original poster is that he is happy with it. So enjoy it.

I am constantly amazed at how many find the middle pickup interfering with their pick. I just can't imagine how deep into the strings I would have to play in order to actually hit the pickup with the pick.

I've always loved the look of white pearloid tuner buttons on a LP Custom, but I'm not sure about that square-ish shape. Plus they look very thin, easy to break.

Opinions and pick control vary.

I have no problem with them.

I've seen DMZ's with the logo like this before, and the Gibson logo seems old to me, but correct. No issues there. There are fret nibs, the trussrod cover is correct (which says that the trussrod itself is correct), everything lines up as it should. I see no reason to have doubts.

Was just raising the issue. I believe there could be DMZ covers like that I haven't seen, and old headstock is old. Makes sense.
