hey guys,
ok.. So i put a Duncan Blackout in my Jackson Flying V and it seems to sometimes like to sqeual. I thought maybe its a bit high/close to the strings, but that didnt seem to fix the issue.
I have the same pickups in my Lespaul and they dont make noise like that all.
Do I have a faulty pickup? I am connecting it using Quick-Connect cables because it replaced an EMG81. If the connector is the other way around, will that produce such issues?
I even replaced the battery and replaced the pots/caps and still makes the noise.
