The reason for the odd speaker setup in the 4X12 is because I like running the cab in stereo. I have the greenback and creamback in one side which has an classic sound while the other side is more modern sounding.
I had the H75 in an ENGL combo I used to own and like it a lot. It sounds like a Greenback but with more low end and is nothing like a V 30 to my hears. To be honest I hate V30's and am replacing it in the 4X12 for another Creamback H or possibly a Warehouse ET65.
Interesting speaker combination in the 412.
I especially like the m65 model. I had some time on a 212 with them. To my ears it really does sound like a greenback bred with a mesa v30.
What is your take on the h75?
Did you hear it alone vs the v30 prior to installing it in the 412?
I've only heard demos, but my h75 impression was more like a v30/cl80 cross than a greenback tone. (so hard to tell from videos, even at 1080HD.
